Barbican – Travel Box for Carcassonne Base Game

The Barbican Travel Box has the following features:

• Overall box dimensions are 7 3/4 in x 6 in x 1 3/4 in (197 mm x 152 mm x 45 mm)
• Base game tiles are stored in individual stacks.
  • The River expansion and the regular starter tile can be stored in one stack, with the rest of the tiles distributed to the remaining stacks.
• Individual player trays are provided with one area for regular meeples and one area for the score marker and the Abbot.
• Unique score track with score markers, as well as color coded 50 and 100 point tiles for when a player laps the score track.  Each score position on the score track is surrounded by walls that help prevent inadvertent shifting when the score track is knocked or moved.  Intermediate score numbers and guide arrows are clearly identified using durable Oracal vinyl.
• Score markers are designed to fit 6 within each score position.  In two player games, conventional meeples can be used for tracking score position.
• A sixth player tray is provided to hold an optional set of player pieces for a 6th player.  Due to differences in published versions of the game, this 6th player tray is available in Pink or Grey

The entire box is small enough to fit within the original box when not in use, or stored flat or on end on a shelf.

The Barbican is the younger sibling of the Barbican XL (which is designed to hold the Carcassonne base game as well as up to 2 expansions).  Both versions have the same footprint, the Barbican XL is just a little taller.  Here is a side-by-side comparison of the height difference.

Available main color combinations are:

1. Green / Brown – the box and lid are printed in green, with light brown used as the accent color for the score track base and, optionally, the player trays
2. Blue / White – the box and lid are printed in blue, with white used as the accent color for the score track base and, optionally, the player trays
3. White / Grey – the box and lid are printed in white, with grey used as the accent color for the score track base and, optionally, the player trays
4. Custom – After purchase we will contact you to discuss color combinations.  We have access to a reasonably large collection of colors and most color combinations should be able to be satisfied with no up charge.

For the player trays, you can choose from the following options:

• Accent Color – All the player trays will be printed in the accent, or secondary, color paired with the main color
• Player Matched (6th Player in Pink) – Trays will be provided in the 5 original colors of the game pieces, with the 6th player tray printed in Pink
• Player Matched (6th Player in Grey) – Trays will be provided in the 5 original colors of the game pieces, with the 6th player tray printed in Grey
