Game Insert for Dinosaur Island
Are you worried your dinos will rampage through the box eating all the patrons while it is on the shelf (of course they can have all the hooligans they want, but patrons, come on!)? Worry no more – with this set of trays and boxes for storing all the Dinosaur Island pieces with room to spare. Your dinos, patrons, cash, and everything else will keep their place in your box.
While this was designed for the Deluxe version, the regular version should fit as well.

Here are some highlights for this design:
- All trays and boxes are printed in PLA in the colors shown.
- All tiles are stored in a single half-height tray that has individual compartments for the “extra” or custom tiles of each type. Not using custom tiles? No problem, no need to sort them out, just pull out the regular tiles.
- Set up should go much faster since the dinos, patrons, and cash can all just be lifted out of the box and set on the table.
- Player trays have areas to store all the bits associated with each player, so just hand out the trays and everyone should have what they need.
- Refer to the included packing diagram if you need help putting things back in the box.
- Dinos, cash, and patrons all sit in the deep end of the box, everything else goes on top of the player boards.
Some of the boxes are a bit oversized, but that just leaves room for growth and helps to ensure everything stays in it’s place when the game box is tipped on it’s side or transported.
Most pieces are custom designed with the exception of the card holders:
These are customized versions of the Interlocking Card Tray – v2 by SpoonUnit found on Thingiverse. FYI – I sized each of these to hold 60 cards, which is more than is needed. Basically just combine one large stack and one small stack into each tray.

- 1 x Dino Cage box (grey)
- 1 x DNA Dice box (black)
- 1 x Modifiers box (black)
- 1 x Paddocks Attractions Improvements Recipes tray (green)
- 1 x Patrons tray (black)
- 4 x Player Tray (red, white, blue, green)

NOTES:
- Game and game pieces not included. This is a collection of trays and boxes for storing the game provided separately.
- Update regarding the X-Treme edition (most recent Kickstarter version of base game) – For the X-treme version there was evidently an unintentional manufacturing change that resulted in the X-Treme version box being approximately 4 mm shorter than the Deluxe version. The result is that this insert fits as designed, with the only issue being that there will be small amount of lid rise when closed. This should not affect the storage of the game, and you should still be able to store the game on edge if you desire.

These inserts are printed in plastic, and like children, pets, and wine, a hot car can be detrimental to their health. Please do not leave your insert in a hot car. Components of the insert could warp or deform.
