Gate B53 – Now Boarding (2nd Edition) board game insert

Features of the insert include:

• Pieces arranged similar to how a player builds their plane
• Concealed area under the tail pieces for storing anger cubes
• Card / Tile compartments have side cut outs for loading / unloading, as well as push through holes at the bottom to ease unloading if desired
• Cockpit compartment has risers to enable storage of two engine tiles for better overall profile
• Plane hanger on the right stores each plane in an individual slot
• Unique corner lifter makes it easier to remove the rule book and other cards
• Game can be set up / played / and stored without the need for removing the insert from the box if desired

The 2nd edition comes with a single sand timer, consequently, one of the two timer wells will be left empty. You can use that one to position the corner lifter as shown in the photos. The corner lifter is provided to make it easier to lift out the rule book and the other cards when unpacking.

When packing the game, place the corner lifter in an open corner as shown, then place the rule book, followed by the remaining sheets / cards.  Finally place the game board on top.

Due to the constraints on size, this insert does not support sleeved cards.

Notes:

• 2020 11 26 – This insert is compatible with the 2nd Edition of Now Boarding. The recently released 2nd Edition can easily be identified by the box cover which has ground / plane colored blue, and a tan sky. Here is a picture that shows the differences 1st vs 2nd edition.
