Deja Vu All Over Again – Board Game Insert for The LOOP and Fauxzilla Expansion
Days at the Agency doing the hard work of foiling Dr. Faux sometime seem like Deja Vu all over again.
A quirky game needs a quirky insert and here is our rendition of a 3D printed board game insert that safely stores all the components of The LOOP base game as well as all the components of the Revenge of Fauxzilla expansion.ย Everything fits within the base game box, with no lid lift, and room to spare.ย Some of the trays are a bit unorthodox in shape, and the packing is a bit unique as well, so be sure to take a look at the LOOP Tips and Tricks page for guidance on how to pack the box.ย Our shake, rattle, and roll tests didn’t show any component migration or slippage when following the packing instructions.
The agent trays match the agent colors, and the remaining trays are available in:

Our Deja Vu All Over Again insert has the following features and specifications:
- Custom color coded Agent trays to ease setup, play, and teardown.ย Each agent has a custom designed tray to hold their player piece as well as their cards and agent tile.ย The color of each tray matches the color of the agent meeple
- Custom mission tray with poke hole in the bottom for easy removal of mission tiles
- Cube tray that can be used on the table during game play
- Custom designed cage for Dr. Faux’s machine.ย Stabilizes the machine in the box and prevents it from moving around
- Two dedicated Fauxzilla trays for storing Fauxzilla and its related components
- Three card trays sized to support sleeved cards
- Card trays are sized to fit the Gamegenic Standard Card Game sleeves (Grey equivalents) (66×91)
- There is no lid lift, and box can be stored horizontally or vertically with no component migration when following the packing directions located on our Loop Tips and Tricks page
- While the insert is designed to hold the base game and the expansion, if you don’t yet have the expansion there will just be a few empty trays in the box, dutifully waiting for you to get the expansion.ย The stability of the insert should still be maintained.
