Solar Barque XL – Board Game Insert for Ra – Pharaoh Edition and Traders expansion by 25th Century Games

Solar Barque XL is our 3D printed insert designed to securely hold the game pieces for the Kickstarter Pharaoh Edition of Ra and the Traders expansion, released by 25th Century Games.ย  The insert holds all the sun disks in an enclosed box and the Ra figures and scoring tokens in separate trays. The Ra tray holds the figures. A new Crates tray, complete with lid, holds the new crates introduced with the expansion. The insert arrives ready to be loaded with no need for assembly, gluing or punching.

Fun Fact: The name “Solar Barque” comes from the type of vessel that Ra used as he traveled across the sky, providing light to everyone below.

NOTE: This insert is compatible with the wooden version of the Pharaoh’s Edition of Ra. The Traders expansion Kickstarter introduced an acrylic version of the Pharaoh’s edition. The acrylic version comes in a shorter box, and consequently this version of the insert is not compatible with the acrylic version. We are working on a new version to work with the acrylic edition, but until then, please only purchase this version if you have the wooden tiles in your bag.

Our Solar Barque XL insert has the following features:

  • There is no lid lift, and box can be stored horizontally or vertically with no component migration when following the packing directions located on our Solar Barque Tips and Tricks page
  • Two roomy Scoring Token trays for easy access during play
  • Sun Disks are stored in an enclosed box with lid to help reduce wear and tear.
  • A dedicated Crates tray, complete with lid, stores the large and small crates

Works well with just the Pharaoh's Edition

If you don't yet have the Traders expansion, this insert will work just fine with just the base wooden Pharaoh's edition. You'll just have an empty crate tray, or you can choose to not put the tray in the box at all if you wish.

Games pieces shown in the photos are for reference only. The buyer is expected to provide their own game pieces.

These inserts are printed in plastic, and like children, pets, and wine, a hot car can be detrimental to their health. Please do not leave your insert in a hot car. Components of the insert could warp or deform.
